Do you share the same passion as us that no one should be left disadvantaged due to lack of knowledge about one’s rights and responsibilities?
As a Volunteer Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our volunteering programme. You will help recruit, induct, support and develop volunteers across the organisation, ensuring they have a positive, meaningful and well‑structured experience. You will work closely with staff, partners and community organisations to ensure volunteers are confident, valued and able to contribute effectively to our service.
You will need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people, including those who may be vulnerable or new to volunteering. You will be organised, proactive and committed to delivering a high‑quality volunteering experience. The role involves hybrid working, with a mix of office, outreach and remote work.
We offer a competitive salary alongside a range of benefits, including generous annual leave that increases with length of service, paid sick leave, a pension scheme, annual season ticket loans, career breaks, and ongoing opportunities for professional development and progression within the organisation. You will join a warm and friendly work culture where staff and volunteers are valued, and we also offer a flexible working environment where you can work from home on some days.
If you are ready to be a part of this community organisation offering a vital service to people who need our help, then click apply and complete the application process, demonstrating how you meet the competencies in the Person Specification in your supporting statement.
