London Rotary Club supports Foodbank Advice Project
Citizens Advice Westminster is the very grateful recipient of a donation of £500 from The London Rotary Club. The Club ran an event last year and raised the funds to support our foodbank project. CEO Shirley Springer and Chair of the Trustee Board Dee Conaghan attended the Rotary Club luncheon in March where they were presented with the cheque by Tim McAndrews, President Elect.
CEO Shirley Springer said: “We are extremely grateful to the London Rotary Club for responding so generously to our request for support. Westminster is one of the worst boroughs in the country for child poverty and families with children make up over half of all foodbank users.”
