Salary:          £17,684 Pro Rata [£29,473 F.T.E] Scale 5, Band 1  

Based on Citizens Advice Westminster’s Salary Framework

Hours:           Part-time – 3 days per week

Contract:      Permanent

The Opportunity

A new opportunity has risen for a Housing Adviser/Caseworker to join our offices in Paddington. We are looking for an experienced and proactive individual who is actively seeking the next challenge in their career path and who will play an integral part in moving our organisation forward.  The post holder must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience of providing housing advice and casework. The post holder will also play a key role in engaging with key stakeholders through attending meetings, delivering presentations and written reports.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal appropriately with a cross section of people, including a diverse workforce and client base. A minimum of 2 years’ (full-time equivalent) post-qualification experience of providing good quality, in-depth casework on the full range of housing issues is essential, with the ability to share and contribute positively whilst having a flexible approach to service delivery.
