Focus Newsletter – Spring 2019
In September we will celebrate our 80th anniversary and we will mark this unique anniversary later in the year. We will celebrate that we are continuing to support residents of Westminster with their daily challenges whether financial, housing, employment or mental illness, but we are also responding to new challenges such as helping those suffering from digital exclusion or the switchover to Universal Credit creating hardship for many.
We have also introduced an important new service with funding from the Home Office to support people affected by the so-called Windrush experience. If you wish to access this service to claim compensation from the Home Office scheme you can do so through one of our Gateway services by telephone or online. You can also drop-in at one of sessions. In particular can I please ask you to look at how you can easily support us via our various online sources which donate on your behalf every time you spend with them. We depend on additional donations and funding support to supplement our grant from Westminster City Council if we are to be able to continue with the range of so I hope you can get on board through these schemes.
