Children’s Centre Service

Are you a Westminster family with at least one child under the age of 16, or a young person (aged 16 to 19)? Do you need help with a benefit, debt or housing problem?familiesunderfive2

Our family support adviser is based at the Children’s Centres around Westminster, and there are Drop-ins so you can just come along.

As of 05 March 2020 Citizens Advice Westminster has put in place precautions following guidance released by Public Health England in relation to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We will only be able to offer advice and information over the phone or online.  There will be no face to face sessions for the meantime.   You can however join us for our weekly virtual drop-in sessions.

Stay at home if you have Coronavirus symptoms

Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

  • a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
  • a new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.

Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you’re staying at home.

Read the NHS’s  advice about staying at home.
